Step 1
We admitted we were powerless over alcohol - that our lives had become unmanageable.
Tradition 1
Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity.
The Men’s Group would like to dedicate this website to all of our members who have shared their experience, strength and hope with us and then died sober asking us to pass it on. Your examples of Serenity, Courage and Wisdom continue to inspire us in our daily quest for sobriety
The Men’s Group would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank St. James Roman Catholic Church and, most especially, the Church’s pastor, Father Thomas Lynch, for allowing our group to use their facilities for our meeting.
Statement of Anonymity
Anonymity is the “spiritual foundation of all our Traditions” within AA and a respected principle within our group. No surnames or members phone numbers will be listed on this website. All communication will be done through either emails and phone calls but only with the expressed permission of the group. member.
Each Monday night, the Stratford Men’s Group is attended by 125-175 members. We participate in one of the five different meetings held each week:
Beginners Meeting
for those with 0-90 days
of sobriety
Kitchen Meeting
for those with 91-180
days of sobriety
Discussion Meeting#1
for those with more than
